HR Generalist
Location: Fort Wayne, In USA
Pay: $20.15 - $26.80 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday 8a-5p
Job Summary: The Recruiter is responsible for talent sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to ensure the agency attracts and hires top talent. This role collaborates with hiring managers, HR leadership, and other network recruiters to develop strategic recruiting initiatives. The Recruiter is also responsible for creating job ads, managing job postings across multiple platforms, leveraging HRIS recruiting modules, and analyzing key HR metrics to improve hiring efficiency and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Review applications, assess candidate qualifications, and conduct preliminary phone screenings.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide recommendations on candidate selection based on experience, skills, and cultural fit.
- Utilize HRIS recruiting modules to track applicant progress and maintain recruitment data integrity.
- Create and manage job postings on internal and external job boards, ensuring visibility and engagement.
- Monitor job ad performance and optimize listings for better reach and effectiveness.
- Work closely with network recruiters and HR teams to share best practices and talent pipelines.
- Assist in developing recruitment marketing strategies to enhance employer branding.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach programs.
- Track and analyze key HR metrics such as time-to-fill, applicant sources, and retention rates.
- Provide recruitment reports and insights to HR leadership for workforce planning.
- Identify trends and suggest improvements for process efficiency and candidate experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in social services, nonprofit, healthcare, or a related industry.
- Experience with HRIS recruiting modules and applicant tracking systems (ATS) required.
- Strong knowledge of job boards, sourcing techniques, and recruitment best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
