Job Description
As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for overseeing HR operations across multiple business entities. You will manage essential tasks such as recruiting, compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and vendor management. This role will require you to handle sensitive employee matters while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration (35%): Manage employee leaves of absence, onboarding/offboarding, maintain employee records, and assist with pandemic-related health reporting.
- Compliance & Safety (10%): Oversee drug and alcohol testing compliance, pre-employment testing procedures, DOT regulations, and state/federal employment law adherence.
- Vendor Management (5%): Handle vendor relationships, billing, and issue resolution for pre-employment screenings.
- Talent Acquisition (35%): Lead recruitment efforts, develop effective hiring strategies, source candidates, and improve recruitment processes.
- Onboarding & Training (15%): Coordinate new hire orientation, develop training programs, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
- Experience as an HR Generalist, with a focus on recruiting, compliance, and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HR systems and tools for data management and reporting.
- Type: Direct Hire
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM
- Location: On-site in Denver, with the potential for one remote day
