Easterseals PORT Health, one of the largest non-profit service providers in North Carolina & Virginia, seeks a dynamic, people oriented, and dedicated Program Supervisor to join our EMPOWER Transition to Employment (TTE) team in Ahoskie, NC. Your role will make a huge difference in the lives of the people we support through our TTE program.
Full-Time Schedule
- Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:00pm with some Saturday's required
What You’ll Do
The Transition Supervisor oversees the Transition to Employment program and related activities. This position is responsible for ensuring best practices and supports based on the personal outcomes of the individual and/or family. The Transition Supervisor will be hands on and involved with the implementation of activities, leading and modeling as appropriate.
- Responsible for planning, facilitating and implementing all Transition to Employment activities with approval from the Innovative Program Director of EMPOWER.
- Assists with the on-going evaluation of all programming, implementing corrective action as needed to improve operations considering participant needs/interests and with special regard to emerging rehabilitation or therapeutic philosophies as they apply to the program philosophy.
- Assists in the recruitment and supervision directly and indirectly of all program participants.
- Collaborates with the Clinical Supervisor, Innovative Programing Director, and transition coaches in the development of Person-Centered Plans.

What We’re Looking For
- To join our team, you must have Two (2) years of supervisor experience overseeing staff and implementation of activities within the program
- Bachelor's degree in recreation, special education, or related human service field preferred
- 3 years’ experience with developmental disabilities and mental health populations preferred
- Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved COVID exemption form
