Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Fully Licensed Outpatient Therapist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary medication assistance treatment team designed to provide crisis interventions and support to adults and youths in Rocky Mount, NC.
What You’ll Do
As a Therapist you will utilize screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to develop client treatment goals and person-centered plans (PCP’s). The PCP’s will include input from the clients regarding treatment and diverse after-care plans. The therapist may provide services to individuals and groups with substance use and mental health struggles to include initiating contact and working with family members or support systems in the care process.
How You’ll Benefit
You’ll earn a competitive annual range starts at $55,000 depending on skills and experience. This full-time position offers a primary schedule Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm, 40 hours per week with evening flexibility depending on program and client needs. This position is on-site and collaborates with our medication assisted treatment team. We also offer competitive benefits for benefits eligible positions.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team as the outpatient therapist you must have in-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application in an Outpatient setting, be able to work independently, be adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis. We also require:
- Full Licensure required: LCSW, LCMHC
- Dual licensure preferred, LCAS
- Experience in Substance Abuse services preferred
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
