Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to adults and children with disabilities. We are looking for a full-time nurturing Residential Program Nurse. The annual salary is $52,000 with full benefits.
JOB SUMMARY-Residential Program Nurse
The Residential Program Nurse is responsible for the coordination and documentation of medical-related aspects of care for individuals in the Residential program.
QUALIFICATIONS-Residential Program Nurse
- LPN or RN valid license required.
- Prior experience working with colostomy care and suprapubic catheters preferred.
- Prior experience working with individuals with Developmental and Intellectual disabilities preferred.
- Current US driver’s license with acceptable driving record obtained through the Office of Motor Vehicles.
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES-Residential Program Nurse:
- In conjunction with the Residential Medical Assistant, the Residential Program Nurse coordinates, schedules, monitors and attend all medical related appointments of the individuals. Works with the House Supervisors to arrange transport of individuals to appointments.
- Meet weekly with the Leadership Team to review changes and ongoing medical issues of individuals and with Director, Franklin Programs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with medically related regulations governing residential programs and assist with licensing inspections. Maintains all necessary documentation
- Conduct minor medical treatment for consumers in accordance with medical instructions from PCP/Specialist.
HOURS & BENEFITS-Residential Program Nurse
- Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8- hour days. The hourly rate of pay is $25.00 for an annual salary of $52,000
