- Provide direct client care in a 1:1 setting utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
- Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
- Preparing meals, cleaning, and assisting with laundry.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Ability to tolerate moderate to high-stress levels.
- Ability to utilize deescalate when interacting with an individual that may be displaying physically aggressive, self-injurious, or socially inappropriate behavior.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to meet Illinois' driving requirements with dependable means of transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50pounds.
- Works both independently as well as part of a team.
- Empathetic and supportive with staff, clients, and families.
