POSITION: English/Language Arts Instructor
REPORTS TO: Principal, Fairfield Career Center

STARTING DATE: August 1, 2025
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful applicants must hold a valid high school teaching certificate/license in English for grades 11 & 12 or be able to secure appropriate certification/licensure; Successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The English/Language Arts Instructor will teach English/Language Arts to 11th and 12th grade students enrolled in career/technical programs; Develop lesson plans that make connections between content and real-world applications; Collaborate with instructional staff and work in a team environment; Provide instruction to include promotion of student involvement in Career Technical Student Organizations.
SALARY: Placement on the certified teacher salary schedule.
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time certified position; 186-day calendar; Benefit-eligible position
