Job Description:
Responsible for storeroom activities. Must be proficient in performing the full range of duties described in the job for a Stockkeeper. In addition, functions as a resource for non-routine questions and problems, trains new storeroom personnel, troubleshoots system and inventory problems, and maintains good housekeeping.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work a 12-hour shift schedule, as assigned.
- Maintains and manages the Storeroom, including maintaining housekeeping, quality of the condition of the inventory, labeling and identification of storage locations, and arranging stock for a timely and accurate issue and delivery.
- Maintains physical inventory to verify that Physical Stock matches System Stock.
- Responds to pick tickets or issue requests.
- Provides face-to-face customer service.
- Process returns and credits of materials.
- Accept stock from Receiving and/or other storerooms and performs an “In-Bin” operation.
- Assist Indirect Material Specialist and/or Stockkeeper in reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all Stockkeeper jobs and is able to support other stockkeepers, functions as a resource for non-routine questions and troubleshooting.
- Process rotational parts.
- Follow all department safety expectations and maintain My Learning Lab training.
- Perform after-hours duties which include:
- Picking parts from other storerooms (nights and weekends) including vendor-stocked storeroom areas
- Processes in-bound truck deliveries and emergency shipments in Receiving (nights and weekends)
- Operate Saw in B-191 and North Lot
- Assists with annual physical counts.

- Have or possess the ability to learn the Eastman materials management process, Eastman Chemical Company products and processes, enhanced computer skills (SAP R/3), and knowledge of a variety of software packages including corporate systems (i.e., Intranet, Internet, Microsoft Office products, etc.).
- Be willing to work varied schedules and overtime according to business needs.
- Be willing to train in all areas of Stores & Receiving.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
