POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Manager serves as the leader of our sales team. Their role is to motivate and guide the team towards reaching all sales goals, as well as contributing to the guest experience through hands-on support including both the car-buying process and underwriting needs. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for setting the division’s culture, training, and motivating the team to learn continuously. They will work as the guest's largest advocate and ensure that the car-buying process is simple, seamless, friendly, and fun while supporting a team of sales professionals!
POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for leading and coaching a team of salespeople including but not limited to:
- Assigning sales territories
- Setting quotas
- Mentoring the members of the sales team
- Assigning and assisting with sales and other training of the team
- Building a sales plan
- Managing employee lifecycle of sales team
- Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls. Meeting planned sales goals. Setting individual sales targets with the sales team. Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary
- Ability to travel to designated store locations to ensure full dealership coverage during team member absences. (This requirement also applies during the Regional Sales Representatives scheduled day off.)
- Work independently to establish leads, develop relationships, and create a strong referral network and pipeline for the business and sales team.
- Assist guests in the completion of all aspects of the credit, financing, and sales process.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Team Easton’s complete automotive inventory, supporting sales team and guests in the efficient and effective sale of a vehicle.
- Ensure consistent rotation of vehicle inventory to maintain lot-presence with the goal of creating a positive curb appeal for potential and existing guests.
- Audit sales leads in appropriate branch location(s) to ensure protocol is met by all team members.
- Utilize customer relationship management software to manage tasks and assignments.
- Assist with general dealership(s) cleaning and maintenance, including all public areas inside and out.
- Underwrite loan applications within guidelines and evaluate loans to maximize profit and minimize risk or loss
- Review and verify accuracy of application details, employment profile, credit strength and all other pertinent loan documentation and information
- Serve as a resource to associate auto dealerships and employees with underwriting questions.
- Will complete WAM certification and sales license after hire, if not already completed.
