What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Food Runner position at Easton Wine Project?
Our Team Members play an extremely important role in delivering the EWP experience to our guests. They are responsible for making sure guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
Host/Seater Responsibilities:
- Smile and provide a warm welcome to our guests
- Providing great guest service and positive vibes
- Answer the phone and take reservations
- Manage reservations, walk-in guests and wait-lists utilizing our Reservation System, TableAgent
- Understand a seating chart, memorize table numbers
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them back
- Performing cleaning duties such as clearing glasses and plates and resetting tables
- Perform restroom checks and stock supplies
- Completing the Closing Side Work checklist daily
Food Runner Responsibilities:
- Being detail oriented
- Providing great guest service and positive vibes
- Ability to memorize table numbers
- Menu/food knowledge
- Food Allergy/Ingredient knowledge
- Ensures food accuracy before delivering to the guest
- Organization of order tickets
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Communicates effectively with the FOH and BOH Teams
- Works closely with the Expeditor/Chef
- Maintains the cleanliness of expo and stocks paper products
- Completing the Closing Side Work checklist daily
Requirements:
Must be at least 17 years of age.
Flexible Schedule
Availability: Friday and Saturday Evenings with occasional daytime and weekday evening hours available.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
