We are hiring for a leader in manufacturing after-market products for off-road and overlanding vehicles. We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to ensure the timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable, month end journal entries, bank reconciliates, and other accounting and data entry tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate, 4 year degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years Accounting or Bookkeeping and Accounts Payables experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (intermediate excel skills)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong work ethic with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounts Payable
- Collect vendor invoices, match invoices to pack slips, create receivers and input bills into accounting software
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers for invoices, receipts, pack slips, etc. to ensure timely processing of bills
- Work with department heads to resolve any issues / discrepancies on purchase order, pack slips, and/or invoices
- Assemble weekly bill packets for accounting review and signatures, mail and file bills accurately
- Match receipts for monthly credit card bill
- General Ledger / Reconciliation
- Assist with journal entries
- Assist with general ledger reconciliations and internal audits
- Other
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Special projects as needed
