Benefits Administrator
Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a leading provider of workforce management solutions, is seeking a Benefits Administrator to support our clients’ benefits administration needs. In this role, you will work closely with Account Managers, assisting with day-to-day benefits operations, client renewals, and system updates while ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing administrative requests and internal inquiries.
- Ensure timely responses (within 24-48 hours) and effective resolution of client concerns.
- Identify trends and escalate concerns to the Account Manager.
- Provide support and training to the call center for client-specific escalations and resolutions.
- Update system documentation, including benefit class grids, rates, site content, and system access.
- Assist with renewal builds for administrative platforms, self-service portals, and EDI files.
- Conduct testing and monitoring of system changes while demonstrating platforms to clients and brokers.
- Manage processes to ensure all deliverables outlined in the Benefits Administrator guide are met.
- Train internal and external customers on system functionality for open enrollment.
- Research and resolve client escalations, collaborating with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Continuously seek process improvements to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
Technical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas, sorting, filtering).
- Experience in health and welfare benefits is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and resolve issues effectively.
Communication & Customer Service:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to ask the right questions, understand client concerns, and propose clear solutions.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Leadership & Work Ethic:
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and adapt to a fast-paced, high-intensity setting.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 2 years of client support experience, preferably in group benefits administration or a related industry.
