CNC Lathe Machinist – Immediate Opportunity
Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a leading provider of workforce management solutions, is urgently hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist with setup experience for an aerospace company based in Mesa, AZ. This company is renowned for its expertise in manufacturing and distributing commercial aerospace and military products, including machined components for aircraft engines, cockpit avionics, airframes, helicopters, and missile applications.
Shift Schedules:
- First Shift (Training): Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Second Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $28–$31 /hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret setup sheets, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
- Perform unsupervised setup tasks efficiently and troubleshoot setups/programs as needed.
- Operate and maintain CNC lathe machines with minimal supervision.
- Use various precision measuring tools and demonstrate proficiency in geometric tolerances.
- Translate mechanical drawings into accurate machine commands.
- Load raw materials, conduct test runs, and adjust machines for optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and maintain daily machine functionality.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine and Lathe Operator.
- Proficiency with CNC machinery, precision measurement tools, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, math skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a results-driven mindset.
Preferred Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
