- Utilize CAD software to design detailed 3D components
- Develop multi-level 3D assemblies
- Create detailed 2D component and assembly drawings
- Leverage engineering expertise to contribute to product development
- Conduct first article inspections and evaluations of new products
- Perform functional testing in test and assembly areas
- Research and test material properties, including strength and behavior
- Update and modify product specification sheets using CAD software
- Distribute updated specifications across various departments
- Create and maintain master BOMs and assembly drawings for all products
- Ensure accuracy and consistency between BOMs in the MRP system and master drawings
- Maintain uniform part numbering across all BOMs
- Assist in developing and updating installation instructions
- Incorporate engineering changes into existing documentation
- Make key decisions that impact production efficiency and business productivity
- Exercise sound judgment to enhance operations
- Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving quality, safety, and efficiency
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to collaborate across departments and all organizational levels
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Commitment to fostering a culture of accountability, trust, and respect
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- Regular interaction within the department and cross-functionally with Operations and Quality Control teams
- Expected to follow detailed instructions while also exercising judgment in problem-solving and process optimization
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)
- Minimum 2 years experience using SolidWorks 3D CAD software
- Knowledge of basic drafting principles
- Familiarity with engineering tools (e.g., calipers, thread gauges)
- Preferred: Experience with AutoCAD, metal manufacturing processes, multi-level BOMs, and MRP/ERP systems
