About the Role:
As the Director of Customer Service and Logistics, you will be a key leader on the Supply Chain Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring high case fill and on-time delivery rates, optimizing order management processes, and fostering strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain 98% case fill rates and on-time-in-full performance.
- Build strong relationships with the commercial team and key customers such as Costco, KeHE, and UNFI.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, including a Distribution Manager, Order Management Analyst, and Master Data Analyst.
- Oversee the entire order-to-invoice lifecycle in NetSuite, collaborating with finance on invoicing and cash flow.
- Manage carrier relationships, driving improvements in cost efficiency and performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely order processing for both B2B and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.
- Monitor and coordinate new product launches, distributor inventory levels, and product phase-outs.
- Lead product recall management, ensuring quick response and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain item data, inventory levels, and disposal processes at third-party logistics providers (e.g., RJW).
- Participate in weekly scheduling reviews for company-operated manufacturing plants.
- Oversee Master Data management, ensuring accuracy in product, customer, and supplier information.
- Leverage Oracle NetSuite and SPS Commerce, recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Track and optimize key order management performance metrics, including price accuracy, order entry, and invoicing.
- Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiatives and Joint Business Planning discussions with major retail partners.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as a backup for other supply chain roles when needed.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10 years of experience in customer service and logistics within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain disciplines including demand planning, procurement, and inventory management.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple competing priorities.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- Must be located in PST, MST, or CST time zones for effective collaboration.
