Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders to conduct thorough and objective investigations related to associate relations and employee/management concerns.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing solutions and recommendations to leaders within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and administrative employment laws by demonstrating knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management.
- Respond to service line inquiries, offering guidance and solutions to HR-related concerns.
- Investigate complaints and provide coaching to management and employees.
- Complete disciplinary action reports and close out performance plans.
- Review and process Change of Status forms accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Human Services, or a related field (required).
- Preferred but not required: SPHR or PHR certification.
- Proven ability to establish relationships and earn credibility with leadership teams.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including EEO, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and Wage & Hour regulations.
- Technical proficiency in human resources functions and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
