We are looking for an IT Training Specialist for a law firm specializing in legal services. This role provides IT support, develops training materials, and conducts training sessions for employees. The IT Training Specialist plays a key role in supporting the firm’s technical initiatives, from curriculum design to hands-on support.
Key Responsibilities Technical Training & Support
- Research, plan, organize, and conduct IT training programs, seminars, and conferences for attorneys and staff.
- Deliver new hire IT orientations, both in-office and remotely, tailored to specific practice groups and roles.
- Provide remote, desk-side, and classroom-style training on existing and new technologies.
- Develop and deliver application learning plans, training videos, quick reference guides, and other instructional materials.
- Assist the IT Manager in designing self-study materials and coordinating vendor-provided e-learning resources.
- Prepare learning plans and skills development roadmaps for employees.
- Evaluate existing and proposed training programs, recommending improvements as needed.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language.
- Track learner participation and training completions, generating reports for management.
- Develop and administer pre / post-hire technical skills assessments.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert on standard desktop applications and handle "how do I?" help desk tickets.
- Participate in project teams for technology rollouts and upgrades, including evaluation and testing.
