Position: Legal Secretary
Location: San Francisco, CA (In-office to start, hybrid flexibility after acclimation)
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to two partners and one associate.
- Prepare, format, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence in state and federal courts.
- Manage complex calendaring, scheduling, and court deadlines.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and client communications.
- Maintain case files, both physical and digital, ensuring organization and accessibility.
- Handle billing and time entry for attorneys.
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of legal secretary experience in civil litigation (insurance coverage preferred).
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and e-filing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated solid work history with strong references.
