Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a leading provider of workforce management solutions, is partnering with a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company in Lynwood, CA, to hire a Maintenance Electrician. This is a direct-hire opportunity with early morning shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM and an hourly rate of $37.00 – $40.00.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting experience and electrical skills.
- Ability to prevent maintenance issues and continuously improve processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot AC and DC drives.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and steam systems.
- Perform daily setups, adjustments, and maintenance of bottle packaging machinery.
- Execute quality changeovers, set-ups, repairs, and preventive maintenance for packaging equipment.
- Oversee and maintain accurate line setup documentation.
- Troubleshoot PLC systems and machine circuit boards.
- Assist in IQ/OQ/PQ validation for new machines and tooling.
- Maintain proper machine functionality to reduce waste and maximize uptime.
- Perform preventative (PM) and reactive (RM) maintenance as needed.
- Ensure machine safety features function properly.
