Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a company specializing in wire mesh manufacturing for the mining and construction industries. This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of buildings, machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Plan, direct, and evaluate maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operating procedures.
• Oversee the repair and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Supervise inside and outside repair actions for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Manage emergency repairs and corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct employee performance reviews, recommend personnel actions, and prepare maintenance reports.
• Oversee the computerized control and monitoring of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure proper cleanup and housekeeping after maintenance or repair work.

• High School Diploma/GED required; BS in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in setup, repair, and calibration of wire mesh welding line systems (ASTM-F432 preferred).
• 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of PLC-based systems and robotics is a plus.
• Strong understanding of steel products and finishes as applied to machinery maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with cranes, forklifts, welding equipment, and general maintenance tools.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including all shifts, as needed.
