Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficiency across material requisition, machine operation, assembly, packaging, and shipping.
- Develop and monitor performance indicators, fostering a culture of excellence aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure all employees have the necessary skills and training to perform effectively.
- Identify staffing needs, participate in recruitment, and evaluate employee performance.
- Maintain quality control standards in line with industry requirements.
- Manage facility maintenance, security, and adherence to health & safety protocols.
- Plan and oversee weekly and monthly production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Optimize plant operations in a fast-growth environment.
- Provide technical support and coordinate across departments to resolve issues and ensure project completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in production management or related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience as a supervisor or Plant Manager.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes in an architectural millwork setting.
- Experience with ERP and other management software systems.
- Excellent leadership, organization, and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills in both spoken and written English.
