What are the responsibilities and job description for the System IP Design Verification Engineer position at Eastridge?

We are looking for a System IP Design Verification Engineer for a high-performance computing and semiconductor innovation company in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build reusable testbenches from scratch for System IP verification.
- Develop test plans, testbenches, and verification environments to validate coherent interconnect and cache designs.
- Own key design features and execute verification tasks aligned with project milestones.
- Debug functional failures from regressions, gate-level simulations (GLS), and SoC integration testing.
- Implement assertions, checkers, covergroups, and SystemVerilog constraints for comprehensive verification coverage.
- Analyze coverage results, perform gap analysis, and drive closure on functional and code coverage.
- Work cross-functionally with designers, SoC teams, and physical design teams to resolve issues and ensure design correctness.
- Support power-aware verification using UPF and assist in silicon bring-up and root-cause analysis.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in hardware design verification.
- Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM for testbench development and stimulus generation.
- Strong knowledge of ARM-based protocols (CHI, AXI, ACE-lite, APB).
- Experience with GLS, power vector generation, and formal verification.
- Strong debugging skills in complex SoC environments.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments with scripting experience in Perl or Python.
- Experience with coherent interconnect, caches, and LPDDR memory controllers is a plus.
