Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Vertical CNC Lathe Machinist for our client in Long Beach, CA. This is an opportunity to work with a premier supplier of advanced mechanical systems for leading aerospace OEMs.
Location: Long Beach, CA
Pay: $35 to $38 p/Hour
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd shift available.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist operators with loading/unloading parts and ensure smooth shift transitions.
- Set tools, adjust offsets, and make minor edits per programmer instructions.
- Monitor equipment for malfunctions and potential tolerance issues.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production Control to resolve concerns.
- Perform daily machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of experience setting up CNC vertical turning lathes, with expertise in Fanuc controls.
- Proficient in precision measuring tools, thickness gauges, blueprint reading, and geometric tolerancing.
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, boring bars, inserts, and tool-holding devices.
- Ability to follow planning instructions, adapt to changing work environments, and work flexible schedules.
- Solid math skills, including algebra and geometry; CNC programming and experience with G&L, Mori Seiki, Shibaura, or Haas lathes are a plus.
