**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the care and treatment of animals, provide support to veterinarians, and ensure the well-being of our furry patients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform aseptic techniques during surgical procedures
- Handle dogs, cats, and other animals with care and compassion
- Assist in kennel management and animal housing
- Provide support in veterinary critical care situations
- Utilize veterinary technician skills to aid in treatment procedures
- Demonstrate proficiency in animal handling and restraint
- Assist with pet grooming tasks as needed
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results
- Ensure high standards of animal care are maintained
- Help with receptionist duties
**Qualifications:**
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician is ideal but not required
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and surgical assistance
- Experience in dog handling and animal restraint
- Knowledge of kennel management practices
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care procedures
- Strong skills in animal handling and pet grooming
- Proficient in laboratory procedures related to animal health care
