We are looking to add an amazing medical assistant to our high performing Urgent Care team. Eligible for an annual bonus!
We are a family owned and physician lead Urgent Care clinic serving the Cincinnati area. We have been in business for two decades are proud of the work we do to serve our community. At Eastside Urgent Care, we offer a wide range of urgent & non-urgent clinical services, health care services, occupational medicine, worker's compensation & rehabilitation.
The ideal candidate has the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Candidate must be a team player with a strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. The MA will work directly with the Doctor/Provider to administer medical care and support the patient throughout their visit.
Basic Requirements
- Basic Medical Assistant experience
- HIPAA compliant and professional conduct
- Open availability including evenings and weekends (schedule TBD)

Job Duties
Under the direction and supervision of a Provider to assist with performing patient care.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection
- Taking vitals & triage
- Performs COVID-19 testing services
- Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition
- Documents patient care given
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting
- Maintains examination areas
- Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Patient registration and insurance verification
- Organizing and efficient completion of workload
- Return calls from patients, pharmacies, other offices, etc. with answers and information regarding medical conditions and medications
- Call patients to report lab results
Required Availability: Must have open availability.
*Schedule is released 1 month in advance
Required Experience
- Medical assistant: 1 year
- EMR systems: 1 year
- medical terminology: 1 year
