Role Description
This is a full-time role. Hybrid in the Columbus, OH branch. The Finance Manager will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. The Finance Manager will oversee all Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This role is responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and optimizing cash flow. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with financial systems, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire AP process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, approvals, and payments
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
- Implement and enforce AP policies and controls to improve efficiency and prevent fraud
- Prepare and analyze AP reports, including aging reports and cash disbursement forecasts
- Manage the AR process, including invoicing, collections, and payment application
- Monitor outstanding receivables and implement effective collection strategies
- Ensure accurate recording of revenue and reconcile AR balances
- Generate AR reports, including aging summaries and cash flow projections
- Reconcile financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activitie
- Work with auditors, external partners, and leadership to ensure financial integrity
- Develop process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
- 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or financial management
- Experience in supply chain and logistical management desired
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
