Delivery Driver

Route driver with over three years of experience transporting merchandise safely and in a timely fashion.

Essential Job Functions

• Ensuring proper meal count
• Ensuring deliveries arrive undamaged
• Communicate with customers prior to departure and with ETA during route
• Work with Expo Picker to bag orders
• Maintain safety requirements while on the road
• Communicate with customer service in regard to customer-related issues
• Communicate all vehicle-related issues to the Logistics Manager.
• Maintaining route efficiently that is set by the manager.
• Assisting any drivers that may run behind (Drivers are not allowed to deny any emergency tasks assigned by customer service)
• Filling the vehicles with proper fuel. Diesel or gasoline
• Making sure vehicles have required fluids, windshield wiper fluid, DEF, fuel stabilizer.
• Inspecting vehicles to make sure they are roadworthy prior to leaving the facility.

Qualifications

• MUST BE OVER 25 YEARS OLD.
• Customer support experience
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Experience in a high-volume production facility is a plus
• Reliable transportation
