Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Foreman to oversee maintenance crews on site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of procedures. This role is critical in ensuring that all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications.
1. On-Site Leadership & Job Facilitation:
- Lead and facilitate job completion, ensuring efficient workflow and quality work
- Supervise and guide crew members, providing on-the-job support and instruction.
- Monitor crew performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure crew member performance is up to expectations.
- Ensure lunch breaks are properly accounted for and scheduled.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
2. Tool & Vehicle Management:
- Maintain responsibility for all tools and trucks assigned to the crew.
- Ensure tools are properly maintained and accounted for.
- Conduct regular tool checks to prevent loss or damage.
- Ensure trucks are clean and maintained
3. Job Completion & Reporting:
- Ensure all jobs are completed to company standards and within established times through jobber
- Provide regular updates to the Maintenance Supervisor on job progress and completion.
- Report any issues, delays, or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- End-of-Day Procedures
- Ensure all tools are accounted for and returned to their proper storage locations.
- Confirm that all tasks are completed and no crew members are left without assignments.
- Strive to meet the goal of a 4:00 PM clock-out time, while ensuring all tasks are complete.
4. Training & Development:
- Act as a teacher and mentor, investing in the development of crew members.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Identify training needs and communicate them to the Maintenance Supervisor.
5. Communication & Coordination:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with crew members throughout the day.
- Make sure crew members understand job and know their roles/timeliness to complete
- Provide regular updates to the Maintenance Supervisor on job progress and completion.
- Report any issues, delays, or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
6. Expectations:

- Arrive at the shop to receive daily instructions from the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Participate in the morning briefing and understand the daily schedule.
- Communicate tasks and priorities clearly to crew members.
- Assign and delegate tasks effectiveley
- Ensure all trucks are properly prepared and stocked for the day's tasks.
7. Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance foreman or leadership role
- Proficiency in managing crews on site to execute jobs
- Strong understanding of landscape Industry and background
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.96 - $29.66 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
