Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new or improved designs in the manufacturing process
- Participate in design & build of new equipment, prove-out new equipment, bid packages, procurement, and supplier management
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment by observing and collecting data, noting observations, and making recommendations with the goal of improving efficiencies and costs
- Monitor project progress and develop strategies to meet design targets
- Support plant goals for improving safety, quality, and cost savings initiatives
- Support engineering builds start-up support and resolving issues
- Analyze tooling selection and application
- Provide technical support for installation of new equipment/processes
- Provide technical support for training of plant personnel
