Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Event Preparation:
- Work with GSU Site Leadership to plan and organize pre-event tasks, ensuring everything is set for success.
- Lead team training sessions to prepare your staff, making sure they are fully ready for the event.
- Partner with GSU staff and EATS2SEATS management to align on goals and make each event unforgettable.
- Check inventory, ensure all materials are in order, and confirm equipment is ready to go.
Event-Day Operations:
- Lead the team onsite during events, keeping things running smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide guidance and support to staff, coaching them through any challenges that arise.
- Troubleshoot and solve any issues quickly, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and clients.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and health regulations, as well as GSU’s venue policies.
Post-Event Duties:
- Wrap up event tasks, including clean-up, inventory reconciliation, and event reporting.
- Gather feedback from your team and clients to continue improving and innovating.
- Submit detailed reports on the event’s performance, highlighting key successes and areas to grow.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and a passion for customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a team.
- A cool head under pressure, with the ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays, with a positive attitude toward diverse shifts.
- Previous experience in event management, hospitality, or food service is a plus, but not required!
