YOUTH RESPITE PROVIDER NEEDED
Are you looking to gain professional experience working with children with special needs, but unsure where to start? We are seeking individual/s to provide caregiving services for a cool 3 y/o little guy!!
**experience with Sensory Processing Disorders appreciated, but not required - willing to train the right person**
· knowledge of de-escalation techniques preferred
· willingness to accept parental feedback in regards to child
· willing to participate in INTERACTIVE play (kiddo loves using his imagination and likes to role play)
· eager to learn
· family is hoping for someone who can occasionally travel with family to Rochester, MN to help with doctors' appointments (will discuss details during interviews)
WAGE
$14.13/Hour
SCHEDULE
Up to 6 hours a week - !!VERY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE!!
· possibility for more hours as family gets more comfortable
JOB DUTIES
· Assist in education
· Some personal cares - child is 3 and may require diaper changes
· Attentiveness to behaviors
· Knowledge with redirection and deescaltion techniques
· Build confidence/independence
· Be willing to travel to Rochester, MN with family for appointments

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Authorized to work in the U.S.
· Criminal/Caregiver background check
· Compassionate individual with care experience preferred
· Valid driver's license preferred
