Job Overview
The Fulfillment Warehouse Manager oversees a warehouse operation, serving as the logistics and execution arm for a tech-enabled, on-demand cannabis delivery marketplace. This position is accountable for all operations within the warehouse, ensuring that products are fulfilled efficiently and accurately while maintaining high productivity standards. They will also manage team performance, warehouse staff, and drivers, and ensure inventory is properly received, tracked, and maintained through inventory management systems. This position may oversee more than one location.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Accountable for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service, leading by example, and training the warehouse or retail staff on customer service standards
- Responsible for the proper and accurate use and training of cash handling procedures, safe audits, and change drops
- Regularly review and analyze warehouse performance data, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the management team to resolve issues and capitalize on opportunities.
- Generate and analyze regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to track warehouse and distribution performance.
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of warehouse staff, drivers, and brand deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate accountability
- Track incidents and implement process changes to prevent repeat incidents
- Build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate information concisely and appropriately to the warehouse
- staff and drivers
- Adapt internal processes to accommodate changes in regulatory / compliance requirements for continued compliant & streamlined operations
- Monitor & re-order warehouse office supplies integral to uninterrupted operations
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations concerning safety, labor, and employment. Maintain compliance with Union guidelines and Company policies and procedures.
- Manage labor expenses, and analyze variances to support financial objectives.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and well-stocked warehouse/store as well as ensuring general housekeeping duties are upheld
Staff Management
- Upholds and enforces the Company policies and procedures, and effectively trains new staff on all policies and procedures
- Administer performance evaluations, address disciplinary issues, resolve employee relations concerns, and lead individual and team meetings.
- Responsible for creating team schedules, reviewing and approving timesheets, and managing time off requests
- Responsible for evaluating individual skills and capabilities, providing ongoing training and coaching for growth and development
- Responsible for final interviews in the hiring funnel for all applicants in accordance with hiring processes
Inventory Management
- Responsible for the overall accuracy of inventory and menu management in the warehouse
- Accurately and efficiently receives and processes orders
- Manage inventory levels between warehouses and units through regular physical counts and reconciliation with Inventory Management Systems and support systems.

- Ability to move products with appropriate equipment to and from the backroom
- Ability to place and arrange products on all shelves and racks daily
- Ability to climb and descend ladders carrying products daily
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds infrequently
- Ability to be on your feet for at least 8 hours per shift and to continuously move around all areas of the warehouse daily
- Ability to also be required to stand, walk, kneel, or balance for a duration of time daily
- Ability to read instructions, reports, and information on computer/register screens and to key information into the computer daily
- Exposure to indoor climate control measures
Other Requirements:
- Must be age 21 to work in a dispensary per state law
- Maintains a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment
- Attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability: 7 days/week and 365 days/year including evening hours and weekend days as dictated by the needs of the business.
Education & Experience
- 3 years of management experience in retail, and hospitality, preferably as a Store Manager; applicable cannabis experience is a plus
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Experience managing a team and a passion for growing and developing employees; multi-unit or high-volume specialty retail experience is a plus
- Experience auditing business performance and managing inventory
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office, tech-savvy
Rate
- Starting salary of $66,560
