We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within our facilities, particularly in hospital and commercial settings. The Environmental Specialist will ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and implement effective environmental services practices to create a safe and healthy environment for all occupants.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of various areas, including patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas within the clinic.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure effective floor care and maintenance of surfaces.
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines and safety protocols while executing custodial tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or improvement in cleanliness and sanitation.
- Collaborate with the environmental services team to develop and implement best practices for maintaining a clean environment.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or environmental services is preferred, but willing to train.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively while adhering to established protocols.
- Experience in hospital cleaning environments is a plus.
- Ability to operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
