Job Description
- This position will provide application support for Kronos, Workday and Concur applications as well as supporting other areas/systems as needed.
- Administration, maintenance and configuration support multiple application environments (Production, Development, Test) within the Kronos, Workday and Concur applications to support the global business requirements.
- Administration, maintenance and configuration support of Kronos, Workday and Concur applications.
- Assistance in migration to Kronos cloud.
- Assistance in migration for EMA/APAC expense report users to Concur applications.
- Assistance in development of integration and reporting needs within Workday.
- Provide technical programming expertise on global systems projects, work requests, and problem situations.
- Participate in global planning, execution and testing of new application implementations and existing application upgrades throughout the global enterprise (Ebara and Ebara Elliott Energy).
- Ensure that technical/programming aspects of systems projects meet global requirements, and identify and resolve system issues.
- Work closely with other Business Systems Analysts and other Application Support Engineers in testing of software and applications under development/implementation in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related field or equivalent requisite experience.
- Three to Five years or more of experience in IT industry working as a software engineer, an application specialist, system administrator or similar role in a global corporate environment working with Human Capital Management, Time and Attendance, Financial Management applications (i.e. Kronos, Concur, Oracle EBS, Workday and other commercial business applications).
- Working knowledge and experience with XML, XSLT, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) for building integrations
- Working knowledge and experience with administration, maintenance and configuration of commercial business application software.
- Working knowledge and experience with any of the following would be beneficial; Kronos/UKG building blocks for pay rules, Kronos/UKG Workforce Central, Kronos/UKG Pro Workforce Management, Workday Studio, Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
- Theoretical and practical knowledge object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript)
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of cloud applications, networks, PCs, Servers, Microsoft desktop operating systems and office applications.
- Working knowledge and experience in supporting users across key areas of the business and identifying business requirements and problems.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of one or more end-to-end business processes.
- Experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of automated business application software.
- Knowledge and experience with sound project management techniques and software tools.
