At EBCO General Contractor, LTD. our Project Executive(PX) are responsible for leading the entire project team on our projects from start to finish in a safe, timely and high quality manner, while increasing our profit margins and keeping our clients happy.
Large commercial PXs should have a combination of technical experience building ground-up projects and strong business sense for contracts, budgets and client relationships.
As the PX, you would have the following project responsibilities:
- CONTRACT: Supporting the Project Manager (PM) with buying out the project, ensuring that all subcontracts are drafted and executed in a timely fashion.
- SCHEDULE: Overseeing the development and maintenance of the project schedule, and taking an integral role ensuring a recovery plan is implemented if necessary.
- BUDGET: Assuming responsibility for profit margins and overseeing all financial aspects of the project.
- QUALITY: Ensuring quality workmanship on the project and establishing corrective action if below quality standards.
- SAFETY: Communicating and supporting the corporate safety effort.
- WARRANTY: Overseeing the project closeout process, ensuring the collection of retainage in a timely manner and managing any work through the warranty period.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Going above and beyond to maintain excellent customer satisfaction at all times. This includes but is certainly not limited to attending all meetings with the Owners Representatives and being available for feedback, questions, and concerns.
