Role Description:
Eberhard Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth for our industrial products company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, particularly in the industrial sector, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define our market positioning and value proposition
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
Marketing Operations
- Oversee all marketing activities including digital marketing, content creation, trade shows, and public relations
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
Product Marketing
- Work closely with product management to develop positioning and messaging for our industrial product lines
- Create compelling marketing materials that effectively communicate our products' value to target customers
- Oversee product launches and go-to-market strategies
Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends
- Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing efforts
- Provide regular market insights to senior leadership and other departments
Sales Enablement
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales tools and collateral
- Ensure alignment between marketing messages and sales strategies
- Support lead generation efforts and nurture campaigns to drive sales pipeline
Performance Measurement
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives
- Monitor and report on marketing performance, ROI, and impact on business objectives
- Continuously optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven insights
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
Minimum Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- 10 years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the industrial products sector
- Strong understanding of industrial sales processes and customer buying behaviors
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms
