What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Specialist position at EBI, LLC.?
Essential Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed):
· Diagnose issues with, repair, maintain company PC’s, laptops as needed.
· Configure and assign company PC’s, laptops to employees as directed.
· Provide training to employees on use of installed software on assigned company PC’s, laptops.
· Provide technical support for issues with installed software as needed.
· Diagnose network, equipment, cable issues, failures, and repair.
· Collect quotes for IT related equipment needed for company or for projects.
· Maintain log of issued, assigned PC’s, laptops for employees, departments.
· Respond to after hour emergency calls for network failure, equipment issues.
· Inspect and maintain all IT related equipment (switches, fiber optics, servers, etc.) for proper operation, make necessary adjustments, repairs.
· Install, maintain internet/network cables, jacks, connections.
· Install, configure, maintain, wireless access points plant wide and at external facilities.
· Monitor wireless network to ensure proper operation and coverage.
· Assist and coordinate server and other related equipment firmware, software updates as needed.
· Troubleshoot and repair barcode scanners, scales, tablets, etc… used in various departments.
· Issue company cellular phones to employees as directed.
· Install, diagnose, monitor, repair, company access control system and components
· Issue access cards to employees for building areas as directed.
· Assign users to camera system as directed.
· Maintain log of issues and repairs of camera systems.
· Monitor, repair, company owned and/or leased printers for proper operation as needed.
· Ensure that spare toner is onsite for printers and replace as needed.
· Contact and assist outside vendor for printer issues that are not able to be repaired in house for printers that are under service agreement.
· Assist HR department with timeclock issues. Diagnose, troubleshoot with timeclock supplier and send for repair, replacement as needed.
· Install, repair, replace, monitors on production lines, other areas as directed for displaying various information.
· Assist outside vendors with the installation of new equipment, projects as required.
· Implementation of additional projects as assigned by CEO.

Requirements
· Physical ability to bend, stoop, stand and repetitively lift 50 or more lbs continuously throughout assigned work shift.
· Ability to adhere to safety and preventative maintenance standards.
· Ability to multitask and work without immediate supervision.
· Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions / directions.
· Ability to do addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and measurement and convert U.S. measurements to metric system using whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
· Being reliable, responsible, and dependable, in fulfilling obligations in an effective, efficient and timely manner.
· Strong problem solving skills.
· High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in the IT field, or graduate of a technical school with Associates or Bachelor’s Degree accepted.
