THE ROLE:
The Social Media Manager is an energetic and collaborative team player who enjoys new challenges. You hold yourself accountable for success with minimal supervision and prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, highly changeable environment. You adapt quickly to rapidly changing priorities and take a forward-thinking conscientious approach to your work and contribute to the accomplishments of the team. You are nimble, resilient and comfortable working on diverse content across our brand portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for producing multiple formats of digital video from conception to completion.
The candidate will be responsible for pitching quality stories and producing premium quality video content for a critical multicultural audience that crosses several demographics.
Produce an entire story with very little, if any, oversight from manager — conducting a pre-pro call with the talent, constructing a narrative, establishing a shot list that delivers on that vision, conducting interviews, and editing the produced footage into a cohesive story.
Create an allotted number of mid-form and short form videos from start to finish sourcing, producing and editing.
Maintain company brand, ensuring consistent quality.
Produce a wide variety of video content utilizing Adobe.
Will consistently pitch and bank strong projects with viral potential and meet monthly or quarterly deliverables.
Will lead select presentations in team meetings.
Ability to brainstorm new ideas and forms for short form content.
Other duties assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
5 years' experience
3 years working in media and production industry.
Seeks constructive feedback and acts upon ideas for improvement.
Must have a positive, self-starting perspective with high performance standards.
Commitment to quality work product and organizational integrity
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-moving industry.
Excellent organization skills with a background in managing well-designed and highly polished deliverables.
Fun, positive, motivated self-starter with a creative spirit
QUALIFICATIONS:
