What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Manager position at Get Engaged Media?
Get Engaged is a leading full-service marketing agency with a focus in social media and
influencer marketing. We are looking to hire a Social Media Account Manager with 2-3 years
agency experience who will develop and implement, digital strategies as well as assist in
the content ideation and creation process for a variety of category-leading brands.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Develop platform strategies specific to clients’ unique needs
- Utilize social listening tools and native platform features to inform ongoing content and to capitalize on real-time trends
- Stay up-to-date on platform updates and new technologies, and loop in creative, brand management, and client teams as necessary
- Proactively search for relevant engagement opportunities for brands, and communicate with online communities in a timely manner
- Assist in development of innovative content and activations that contribute to brand growth and help to reach client and agency goals
- Identify new opportunities and make strategic recommendations in order to establish our clients as leaders in their industries
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media management with a particular focus on the following platforms:
TikTok
X
- Hands-on experience in content creation efforts
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Exceptional organizational skills; this role will require the ability to oversee and coordinate efforts between various departments in order to execute campaign asks
- 2 years of client-facing communication experience
- Experience pulling and analyzing social media platform metrics in order to build tactical recommendations
- Desire to push Get Engaged and our clients to unique, and at times uncomfortable, new whitespaces
