Job Summary: The Commercialization Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and administering customer product and business portfolios. This position encompasses the administration of client activity from new customer setup, portfolio maintenance, product portfolio enhancements, and all distribution and budget tracking. The ideal candidate will have a strong service background, attention to detail, a high understanding of technology, strong organizational skills, and a desire to be part of a team.
Areas of Focus:
- System Management: New item setup, pricing and promotion, broker maintenance
- Account Management: New customer onboarding, customer portal maintenance and management, sales data submission, customer communication
- Trade Promotions and Spend Tracking: Monthly sales reporting, post-event analysis, claims management
- Process Management: Coordinate and manage internal communication processes, proactively identify challenges, achieve critical deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer portfolios and sales teams align with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with initiating pricing quotes and projects to support customer product requests.
- Use ERP software to capture all supporting documentation for customer product requests.
- Manage customer pricing and promotions, working to resolve pricing discrepancies, contract interpretation, or other disputes related to deductions.
- Assist in PO tracking, product inquiries, vendor notification requests, document requests, and other potential customer service-related inquiries.
- Effectively combat ambiguity through collaboration with internal and external teams. This will include communication of project and company updates to stakeholders, as well as challenges you may be facing.
- Lead team projects, guiding team members to achieve collective goals.
- Analyze and resolve issues by employing strategic problem-solving methodologies and drive innovation to enhance both project and company quality and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; associate’s degree and years of experience will be considered.
- Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have experience with consumer-packaged goods or products.
- Pricing and Promotion experience/Trade Promotion experience.
- Prior experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ability to ask questions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be flexible for the needs of a business.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Entry level account management or project management experience is a plus.
