Human Resources Manager (8172)
Job Summary: The HR Manager is responsible for leading and executing key HR initiatives that support the organization's business objectives. This role involves overseeing talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, performance management, and retention strategies. The HR Manager will partner with leadership to align HR practices with the needs of the workforce while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Support and influence the hiring process by screening internal and external applicants, and collaborating with leadership to ensure that job requirements are accurate and aligned with organizational needs.
- Training and Development: Partner with leaders to identify skills gaps and implement development programs to enhance employee performance. Facilitate training events for employees and leaders.
- Performance Management: Assist leadership with performance management, including conducting reviews, coaching sessions, corrective counseling, performance improvement plans, and strategies for employee development and success.
- Employee Relations & Communications: Maintain an active presence in the workplace to support employees and leaders. Provide guidance on HR-related topics such as policy administration, benefits, leave of absence, corrective action, performance coaching, and compliance. Conduct investigations regarding performance or policy issues as directed by the HR leadership team.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all HR activities are carried out in compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations. Support peers in working safely and report any unsafe conditions or incidents. Contribute to continuous improvements in EHS performance.
- Other Duties: Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Knowledge of basic employment law and labor relations.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Basic skills in monitoring and tracking HR-related information.
- Ability to facilitate training and coaching sessions.
- Proficient in problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making.
