One of our Clients in the government domain is seeking a System Administrator who will be responsible for implementing, integrating, and managing infrastructure, unified communication systems, and endpoint devices to support ODA s business operations for the aging community.
System Administrator
Hybrid- 2 days in the office are required

Responsibilities:
- Design infrastructure architecture to align with department s strategic plan, including servers, cloud, networks, VoIP, etc.
- Provide technical support for both the hardware and software issues our users encounter.
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
- Lead the implementation of new technology solutions and upgrades to existing systems, ensuring both the technical deployment and successful rollout management to minimize disruption and maximize efficiency.
- Perform Windows updates, software patches, and firmware upgrades.
- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
- Provide configuration recommendations and assistance to include troubleshooting and de-bugging support for implementation projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with internal and external users, and outside vendors to effectively plan, deploy, and maintain the production environment.
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests, including server, network, and endpoint devices.
- Responsible for the endpoint device deployment.
- Respond to security-related activities to maintain network security and data reliability.
- Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting software and application systems as assigned.
- Assist the ongoing mobility projects in process development and documentation to ensure a smooth and consistent end-user experience.
- Write and edit automation scripts to increase systems and task efficiency.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of endpoint administration and support experience.
- 7 years of system/server implementation and integration experience (AD migration, DNS migration, WIN11 upgrade, Patch management tools implementation, etc.).
- 5 years of unified communication experience.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- Comprehensive technical expertise to evaluate, implement, and optimize infrastructure and endpoint upgrades aligned with organizational goals.
- Strong project management skills to plan, coordinate, and execute technology upgrades with minimal disruption to operations.
- Excellent knowledge of wireless access points, network administration, security concepts and technology.
- Strong knowledge of deployment and management systems.
- Strong knowledge of configuring, implementing, and managing systems.
- Ability to drive results with a sense of urgency relative to the end user.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Ability to break down required tasks in project deployment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients, and the public.
- Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Education:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Certification:
- Professional Certification in server, and/or network Highly Desired
