Systems Engineer (Endpoint Management & Security)

One of our clients in the government domain is seeking an experienced engineer with deep expertise in enterprise technologies including Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager (SCCM), VMware AirWatch, Qualys, Office 365, and Group Policy. Who will support the Operations Team by troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring smooth and efficient system management across the organization.

Systems Engineer (Endpoint Management & Security)

Hybrid 3 days Onsite and 2 days Remote (Will need to Pick up the System onsite)

Location: Columbus, OH

Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced support and administration for Intune, SCCM, AirWatch, and Qualys.
• Manage and maintain Office 365 environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Develop and enforce Group Policy settings for security and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with the Operations Team to deliver effective solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain system configurations and updates.
• Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting Intune, SCCM, AirWatch, Qualys, and O365 environments.
• Strong understanding of Group Policy administration and its role in enterprise environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an operations team to support business continuity.

Mandatory Skills:

• SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager): 5 years of hands-on experience managing and deploying enterprise-level software and operating system updates, ensuring compliance and security across large-scale environments.
• Active Directory Group Policy: 3 years of expertise in configuring and managing Group Policies, optimizing user and computer settings, and enforcing security policies across the organization.
• AirWatch (VMware Workspace ONE): 3 years of experience in managing mobile devices, ensuring seamless deployment, security, and compliance for mobile platforms across diverse devices.
• Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM): 3 years of experience in managing and synchronizing identities, passwords, and access permissions, ensuring secure and efficient identity management across the organization.
• Microsoft Intune: 1 year of experience in managing mobile devices and applications via Intune, enhancing security and productivity for remote workers.
• Migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11: Proven experience in successfully managing and executing the migration process from Windows 10 to Windows 11, ensuring minimal downtime and user disruption while maintaining system integrity.

Nice To Have Skills:
