Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist Level 1 to join our team! In this role, you’ll provide top-notch technical support to both our clients and internal staff, resolving a variety of computer-related issues. If you enjoy solving problems and are passionate about technology, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- Recommend and implement hardware and software improvements
- Document system performance, bugs, and troubleshooting steps to ensure smooth operations
- Follow security protocols and ensure all systems are ready for users
- Assist in the deployment of workstations, wireless systems, backup appliances, and mobile devices
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in IT support or a related field
- Associate’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- A positive and professional attitude with a customer-first mindset
- Familiarity with hardware, software, and network administration is a plus
