JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Operations Crew Leader

JOB SUMMARY
Leads Department in absence of Department Supervisor. Supports the activities of production line, including overseeing workflow, labor assignments and assuring schedules are executed. Supports scheduling by assuring production drawings are accurate and can be produced as ordered. Sets up production drawing packets to be released to production floor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions
· Operates within and upholds company safety policies
· Reporting potential safety hazards and assists in the resolution of the hazards
· Coordinate the startup of the shift by communicating daily production requirements to meet production goals.
· Enforces safety policies within the organization
· Reporting potential safety hazards and assisting in resolution
· Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and implement counter measures to reduce the possibility of the issue occurring moving forward
· Supports and responds to needs from the Team Members by ensuring parts and materials are supplied on time, absenteeism coverage plans are in place, and conducting training and cross training for team members.
· Submits maintenance work orders to ensure facility and equipment are in safe operating condition
· Establishes standard work and ensure team members follow the SOPs.
· Support and resolve BOM discrepancies and other inventory control activities
· Facilitate small group activities focusing on continuous improvement activities
· Keeps production scheduled and communicates order issues
· Assists in developing and tracking KPIs for the department, focusing on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people.
