Job Title: Warehouse Team Member II

Job Summary
The Warehouse Team Member II is primarily responsible for performing material handling, storage management, and shipment preparation in the warehouse. This role requires an active and valid certification to drive a forklift and stand up.
Essential Responsibilities and Functions
- Safely operate forklift and stand up, utilizing skills obtained through continuous training and safety courses
- Unload incoming trucks and load outgoing trucks in accordance with training/safety guidelines
- Verify incoming material against the packing list and part; perform visual inspection of incoming materials for quantity and quality
- Research and resolve receiving discrepancies and errors
- Perform inventory adjustments if required
- Process overstock returns and manage returns through entire process until point of accounting processing
- Perform receipt transactions in HJ software
- Manually stack pallets and label incoming materials with receiving labels
- Distribute materials across facility with appropriate transactions
- Pull finished products from production area and ensure that the product matches the pick slip and the order
- Operate FastShip system
- Train team members to perform inventory transactions
- Respond to requests for inventory adjustments/analysis
- Provide input to Manager regarding process and layout improvement ideas
- Understand and operate barcode scanner for material transfers
- Sort incoming materials manually or with a pallet jack
- Perform daily cycle counts
- Stock materials in an orderly manner according to guidelines for safety, accuracy, and FIFO
- Rotate stock as required when performing moves, replenishments, and counts
- Attend production meetings
- Interface with team members across the facility in a positive manner
- Manage daily tasks and workload in absence of Materials Manager
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including any Warehouse Team Member I duties
Qualifications to Succeed
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in warehouse environment
· Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
· Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with and take direction from others
· Ability to read and understand shipping instructions, packing slips, and product information
· General knowledge of LTL (less than truckload) shipping terminology and processes

· Computer systems (Windows-based)
