Description
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing orders, accepting and logging incoming deliveries, assisting with general organization and sanitation of all warehouse areas, and is responsible for the standardization of both warehousing policies and efficient practices.Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age with one year of post high school college or work experience.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license with clean driving record
- Proficient computer skills using various software programs.
- Strong sense of personal integrity and time management.

Summary
- Opens and/or Closes the Warehouse in lieu of Supervisor.
- Trains and develops new and existing Warehouse Associates for specialty training item including various vehicles and equipment used
- Receives and checks all deliveries.
- Delivers products to the proper locations on the grounds in a timely manner.
- Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy; ensures that goods and equipment are signed for / received on the proper request form; inspects, records, reports, and returns / refuses defective items as needed.
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of all warehouse areas, fittings, and equipment.
- Conduct physical inventory counts.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation while observing that warehouse associates are performing these tasks as well.
- Implements and directs Grant’s Farm’s Standard Vehicle Policies and Practices, with a particular attention to safety of all team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
