What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director Content Strategy position at ECCO Select?
Hybrid position (onsite 4x/week) can be based in Chicago, IL; Detroit, MI; Kansas City, MO; Atlanta, GA; or Frisco, TX. This is a contract for hire role.
***W2 only, No C2C***
This is a hands on Assoc Director role as well delegating to team members and ensuring projects are on track. You must be open to rolling up your sleeps and doing the work a majority of the time.
The Associate Director Content Strategy will develop content strategies and guide content curation for digital content projects, including website redesigns and re-platforms, ongoing content marketing, and end-to-end customer experience (CX) engagements.

Editorial management
Able to work autonomously, but also in a large group setting
SAAS experience would be nice to have
CMS experience (mention any that you have used)
Able to be client facing

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, human factors, content or related field and experience with digital content writing/editing.
- Comfortable making decisions and drawing insights using empirical data.
- 5-7 years working as a content strategist or equivalent role, agency preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, a passion for digital storytelling.
- Always looking for ways to change, improve, or invent new approaches to old problems.
- Strong understanding of current digital design practices and technologies.
- Able to drive a project forward with minimal direction.
- Adept at leading client presentations and workshops.
