The Product Manager, Americas will be responsible for guiding the development and lifecycle of a product from conception to launch, ensuring it meets both customer needs and business goals with a very close focus on winning back wholesale. The role will work closely with customers, sales, global counterparts (design / categories / brand studio), regional marketers, and executives to define the product vision, roadmap, and features.

As our Product Manager, Americas, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration Across Functions: Work closely with colleagues from various functions to drive cross-functional collaboration. The success of each function depends on the strong, seamless collaboration between teams- this is where the magic happens.
  • Foster a Unified Culture: Operate with the One ECCO Americas mindset, ensuring that all teams work together toward shared goals, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to merchandising while developing and executing comprehensive product strategies, roadmap, and long-term vision to achieve business objectives. Prioritize product initiatives based on customer feedback, market analysis, and overall ECCO goals.
  • Identify assortment gaps and collaborate with product development teams to conceptualize and bring new products to market, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and customer preferences.
  • Drive productive product analysis with an understanding of inventory levels, and other key metrics to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to maximize opportunities; whilst aligning to Global and Regional strategies, vision and targets.
  • Implement procedures and protocols to manage quality assurance issues and other supply chain disruptions effectively.
  • Collaborate with the wholesale team on key account seasonal assortment plans – both short term and a 3-year outlook; ensuring a cohesive and appealing product mix, rooted in core franchises that maximizes sales and profitability.
  • Wholesale GTM and Comm News ownership, inclusive but not limited to sample management (timeline, budget, ordering, distribution), linesheets, product decks to support kick off meetings.
  • Subject to request, this role will be responsible to present the product line and merchandising strategies during key account meetings and product trainings.
  • Responsible for the successful execution of a regional line plan and assortment plans across all categories, delivering ECCO’s brand vision in addition to sales, gross margin and inventory productivity across all channels.
  • Responsible for informing superiors and/or peers about critical issues within respective functional area.
  • Lead the Sku lifecycle management process, with cross channel alignment.
  • Collaborate with sales and merch to influence global & regional line and drive to consensus against all short- and long-range merchandising strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify business opportunities and/or risks to sales and/or margin.
  • Oversee the implementation, communication and training of new systems and processes across the merchandise team to ensure consistency and alignment across functions.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment around plans and resources to bring product strategy to life.
  • Effectively manage team, providing for coaching and professional development opportunities as appropriate.
  • Provide a high level of leadership by example to create and maintain an effective working environment including high morale and high productivity.
  • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

If you have…

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 40%.
