Echelon Arch Design is a dynamic and forward-looking boutique architectural firm committed to
delivering innovative designs. Based in a rural setting, we specialize in various sectors to cater to the
unique needs of the communities we serve, undertaking a diverse range of projects. Notably, our
recent efforts have expanded into the educational sector. With our firm continuing to grow, we are
actively seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Project Manager.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager
will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects from
conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture,
excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying
scale and complexity. Strong preference for experience in the education sector of architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution,
monitoring, and closure.

2. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure
timely and cost-effective project delivery.

3. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, employee team and other
stakeholders to establish project goals, requirements, and expectations.

4. Lead project team meetings, communicate project status updates, and resolve any issues
or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project.

5. Review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to ensure
compliance with design standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

6. Monitor project progress, quality, and performance metrics, and take corrective action as
necessary to keep the project on track.

7. Facilitate regular site visits and inspections to ensure that construction activities are
progressing according to the project plan and specifications.

8. Manage project-related documentation, contracts, change orders, and approvals in
accordance with company policies and procedures.

9. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork,
creativity, and professional growth among project team members.

10. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and
requests in a timely and professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within the architecture industry, with a minimum
of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in project management software tools. Echelon uses BQE Core
  • Strong leadership of a staff team as well as strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
  • Professional licensure or certification in architecture (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
in the workplace.
  • Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • This position requires physical dexterity and ability to negotiate around an office area, and

around a crowded and busy working area as well as construction jobsites.
